Welcome to the on-line home of the Far Valley Model Flying Club. Our well maintained flying site is situated on beautiful St. Joseph Island, Ontario, Canada - where we have flown since the 1980s.
We may be the smallest club in the Northern Ontario Zone, but make up for it with variety!
Although R/C (electric & glow) remains our primary interest, we also enjoy free-flight (with or without R/C assist) and control line flying models.
In addition to providing photos and stories about our club activities (main menu - above), our other aim is to share aeromodelling news and views from around the world (Flight Lines menu left).
We hope you enjoy the site, and welcome your questions, comments, and contributions. contact us
Dec 21, 2020 - Winter Solstice
Last year - for the first time ever - we celebrated the winter solstice with some mid-morning flying! The weather was quite pleasant: temp 0C, calm, and mostly clear - but the sun doesn't get very high at this time of year!

The folks at Outerzone collect and share plans of vintage and old-timer flying model airplanes. For free!
They now have over 12 thousand plans available - an awesome free archive of old-timer goodness! Click on the logo (above) to go to Outerzone - our (other) favourite online destination!
