Trinity Indoor Newsletter - Christmas 2021

Not much is known about the Trinity Flyers.  It is believed the group was first formed by volunteers who flew with the (Nationalist) Chinese air force during the Japanese invasion and were later co-opted by SOE (Special Operations Executive) for clandestine flights in and out of occupied Europe during WWII.
During the 1950s & 1960s there were persistent rumours of Sherry Smuggling between Jerez and a secret airfield in Southern England, although this has always been denied by those said to have been involved.
These days the group is reported to be much diminished, being little more than an informal group of "aero codgers" flying small stick and tissue models in a school gymnasium somewhere in Southern England (Berkshire, if you must know).   ,,,. Andy
